Covid-19 has played a large role in shaping our plans at Woodhaven over the past 18 months. Whilst we have been forced to adapt, we have also loved utilising our space in ways we never would have otherwise. Great examples of these include our use of the presentation suites and garden.
Before the pandemic Woodhaven mainly consisted of Nicky hosting corporate executive retreats, training workshops and yoga and well-being days. However, in light of Covid-19 we moved towards broadcasting hybrid conferences using our digital capacity, interspersed with volunteering for the NHS.
Since lockdown has ended, we have loved welcoming engagement parties, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations of life, along with boutique weddings. In addition, over the past few weeks the community have become more engaged in activities and appear to have regained their desire to socialise. It has been so exciting to help local and London clients meet face to face for strategy sessions, private parties, and supper clubs once again. We are proud to be able to offer safe open spaces for socialising to begin again.
We have also loved hosting exciting shoots and videos for product launches, for example we recently welcomed Martin Brooks to shoot videos at Woodhaven to accompany his box set of “Body language decoder” cards which launch this week. On top of this, in the recent weeks OK! Magazine UK have used Woodhaven for Sid Owen's engagement and pregnancy announcement shoot. We have also been featured in the Times newspaper again within their sustainability section.
In the coming weeks we are looking forward to opening our doors for meetings with festive dining, as well as celebrity chefs such as Daniel Galmiche, Daniel Britten, Feugo dining company and Peritia (their social media handles can be found at the end of the blog).
We are also excited to be returning to hosting weekly yoga classes run by Gemma Gregory on Wednesdays at 7:30pm, and Pilate’s sessions lead by Mel Truman on Thursdays at 12:30pm. Both classes started as of the 3rd of November.
Please drop us a line if you would like an e-brochure or send Nicky (nicky@woodhaven.space) an email if she can help you to arrange or book any events with us.
Best wishes from us for November, we believe that some exciting times lay ahead!
The Woodhaven Team.
